4-Day New York, Washington DC, Philadelphia Tour from New York

Itinerary

Day 1:New York (49 miles)
Flights can be booked into any of the three major New York City area airports. Those flying in to EWR before 12:00can either take our shuttle to the hotel for some rest or go shopping at Jersey Gardens Mall. Those flying into LGA or JFK before 3:00pm will have the opportunity to tour Flushing, Queens. All who arrive before 4:30pm have the option of joining a Night Tour of the city. Shuttle service will be available from all airports. There will be an additional charge for those who arrive after 10:00pm.
From 4/1/2016, there will be added two pick up places: Flushing and China Town.
Day 2:New York (226 miles)
Today we will spend the day touring New York City, making stops at the Empire State Building. Guests will take a sightseeing cruise tour on the Hudson River, take pictures with the backdrops of Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge. Furthermore, visit USS Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum. In addition, wandering around Wall Street, taking pictures with Trinity Church, New York Stock Exchange and its signature sculpture Charging Bull. If time permit, we will visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Times Square and Madame Tussauds Wax Museum (According to the traffic condition in New York, we may visit the wax museum in Washington D.C. instead of New York Madame Tussauds). In the end of the day, our tour bus will pass by the Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, Ground Zero and so on.
Day 3:New York – Princeton – Philadelphia – Amish – Washington DC (263 miles)
In the morning we will visit Princeton, NJ and the campus of the prestigious Ivy League school, Princeton University. Next, we will depart for historic Philadelphia, PA to visit National Independence Park, where we will see the famous Liberty Bell. After, we will go to Lancaster to visit the village, it called Amish. From there, we will continue on to Washington, DC, where we will see the US Capitol and the White House and guests will be able to visit the National Air and Space Museum, Lincoln, Vietnam War, and Korean War Memorials. We will spend the night in the DC area.
Day 4:Washington DC – New York (224 miles)
In the morning, we will continue our tour of Washington, DC. Guests will have chance to visit Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. Then, Guests may either fly out of DC or be bussed back to New York. See “Departure and Return Details” for information on when to book flights.

Transportation via air-conditioned vehicle
Airport pick up from JFK/LGA/EWR and drop off on the last day. Complimentary transfer (excluded service fee $8/per person) is available between 9:00am and 10:00pm (Start from 4/1/2016, time will change to between 8:30am and 10:00pm). Outside this time, guests will be charged $120 (first 1-2 guests) and $10 for each additional guest.

If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.
All meals and drinks during the trip.
A mandatory service fees: Minimum $8 / day / person should be paid in cash to tour guide and the bus driver as a service fee. Any child / Infant reserving a seat will have to pay the service fees as well. Ex: 2 people taking a 2-day tour would pay: $8 x 2 (seats) x 2 (days) = $32.
Personal room fees: such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.
Any private expenses
Additional Note
City passes are not accepted during an escorted tour due to the fact that they do not correspond into the tour schedule. The group entrance tickets provided by tour guides have fast lane and tour guides accompany passengers for activities.
Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.
Itineraries are subject to change due to the weather, transportation and other conditions, in order to provide the best experience for you.
Customers are held solely responsible for their own travel documents and/or visas if required.
Hotel rooms: Each hotel room can accommodate no more than 4 guests (adults or children), and existing bedding must be used
Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.

Your ticket(s) will be confirmed at the time of booking. Please allow up to 8 hours to receive the confirmation. Your booking will be processed as soon as possible.

• Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
Tour Departure: This tour has 100% guaranteed departure; if the tour is cancelled there will be refund of 120%. Restrictions apply; due to weather conditions, State Emergencies, Airport Closures or anything beyond the control of the tour operator the 120% refund will NOT apply.
Cancellation penalties per person for 1-4 days tours
15-30 days or more prior to departure – 10% of total purchase amount.
7-14 days prior to departure – 25% of total purchase amount.
4-6 days prior to departure – 50% of total purchase amount.
Within 3 days prior to departure – 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show – 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary – we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours’ only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
