Day 1:Washington DC
Today we will gather in Washington, DC. Guests should meet the tour guide at the baggage claim area/outside of the arrival’s (restricted) area. For international arrivals, the tour escort will wait just outside of customs exit. Free transfer is available between 9:00am and 10:00pm. In addition, an optional Washington D.C. Night Tour (minimum 4 people) will be offered to the guests who arrive at the hotel before 5:00PM.
Day 2:Washington DC – Philadelphia (139 miles)
Today, we will head to Washington D.C. to visit Capitol Hill and the Lincoln Memorial, which overlooks the Reflecting Pool. Additionally, we will stop at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, and the National Air and Space Museum. Later, we will also be able to take some photographs outside the White House and the U.S. Capitol Building.Along the way, we will also pass by the Washington Monument, the Jefferson Memorial, and the World War II Memorial. Afterward, we will continue to Philadelphia to see Independence National Park, the location of Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. We will also see Congress Hall and get the chance to take a duck tour.
Day 3:New York
Today, we will embark on a tour of New York City. By stepping out onto the observation deck of the Empire State Building, we will be able to overlook Central Park and the entirety of the city. Additionally, we will take a sightseeing cruise down the Hudson River, providing backdrops of the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. Then, we will visit the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, Wall Street, Times Square, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, and the renowned Metropolitan Museum of Art. At the end of the day, our bus will pass by Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, Ground Zero, and One World Trade Center.
Day 4:New Haven – Boston (137 miles)
In the early morning, we will visit the campus of Yale University to view its Gothic-style architecture, before driving to Boston, where we will enjoy a delicious lobster meal. Then, we will visit the campuses of Harvard University and MIT before touring the rest of the city, including visits to Trinity Cathedral, the Hancock Building, the Prudential Center, and the Massachusetts State House. In the afternoon, we will take a Boston Harbor cruise. Afterward, guests will transfer to Logan International Airport for their departure flights. Please see “Departure and Return” for more detailed information regarding when to schedule flights.

Airport greet and meet: Guests who arrive at DCA/BWI/IAD can choose paid pick-up service or go to the hotel by themselves.
Airport Drop-off Note: Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) departure after 19:00.
Paid 24-hour airport transport service: For IAD/DCA passengers, $120 per first two persons with $10 for each additional person. For BWI passengers, $200 per first two persons with $10 for each additional person.

If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.
All meals and drinks during the trip.
A mandatory service fees: Minimum $8 / day / person should be paid in cash to tour guide and the bus driver as a service fee. Any child / Infant reserving a seat will have to pay the service fees as well. Ex: 2 people taking a 2-day tour would pay: $8 x 2 (seats) x 2 (days) = $32.
Personal room fees: such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.

Tour route may be changed and reversed; you may contact the vendor 1-2 days prior departure to confirm final itinerary
Customers are held solely responsible for their own travel documents and/or visas if required.
Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.
Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.
Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
Tour Departure: This tour has 100% guaranteed departure; if the tour is cancelled there will be refund of 120%. Restrictions apply; due to weather conditions, State Emergencies, Airport Closures or anything beyond the control of the tour operator the 120% refund will NOT apply.
Cancellation penalties per person for 1-4 days tours
15-30 days or more prior to departure – 10% of total purchase amount.
7-14 days prior to departure – 25% of total purchase amount.
4-6 days prior to departure – 50% of total purchase amount.
Within 3 days prior to departure – 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show – 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary – we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours’ only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
